Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) - Par-T-Mask - Einson Freeman Co. Paper Mask (1937)

$85.00

This charming paper mask was released in 1937 by the Einson Freeman Company, Inc., under their popular Par-T-Mask line, to celebrate Walt Disney’s groundbreaking animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

As Disney’s first full-length animated feature, Snow White was a cultural milestone — the film became a worldwide sensation, earning critical acclaim and record-breaking box office success during the Great Depression. It launched the Disney studio into global fame and secured Walt Disney’s reputation as a visionary.

The Einson Freeman Company, based in New York, was one of the premier producers of party masks and promotional paper goods in the 1930s–40s. Partnering with Disney, they released a series of officially licensed masks featuring beloved characters from the film. This Snow White mask captures the innocent and iconic face of Disney’s first princess, rendered in bold lithographed colors with a bright red bow across her dark hair — a faithful design to how she appeared on-screen.

Distributed as an inexpensive party favor and giveaway item, these masks were typically worn, discarded, or damaged, meaning very few have survived in good condition today. At nearly 90 years old, original examples like this are highly sought after by collectors of both Disneyana and vintage mask ephemera.

This mask measures approximately 8 inches by 8 inches and retains its period charm with the printed “Snow White” name across the bow. A rare and nostalgic relic of Disney’s earliest merchandising era.
