Grumpy (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) - Par-T-Mask - Einson Freeman Co. Paper Mask (1937)

$85.00

Original 1937 Par-T-Mask paper mask of Grumpy, one of the most iconic characters from Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Produced by the Einson Freeman Company, Inc. under license from Walt Disney Productions, this mask was part of the earliest wave of Disney promotional merchandise tied to the groundbreaking animated feature.

Grumpy is instantly recognizable with his furrowed brow, scowl, and fiery red nose — a perfect contrast to the innocence of Snow White and the other dwarfs. Though cynical and stubborn, he ultimately reveals a soft heart, becoming one of the most beloved dwarfs of the film.

The Par-T-Mask series was distributed as party favors and novelties, encouraging children to step into the story world of Snow White. Due to their fragile paper construction and intended single-use nature, very few examples have survived in collectible condition.

This mask displays vibrant lithographed colors and retains its bold “GRUMPY” name across the cap. It represents both a piece of Disney history and a vivid snapshot of 1930s promotional culture.
