Demon Dan - Kelloggs Corn Flakes mask (1953) - Original Store Display Sign
Here it is: the legendary Demon Dan store display — one of the rarest surviving pieces of Kellogg’s promotional history. Issued in 1953 to grocers across the U.S., this double-sided lithographed sign advertised the cut-out “devil mask” included on specially marked Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies boxes.
Printed in bold color on heavy stock, it was designed to hang in stores and instantly catch the eye of kids and parents alike. Few survived outside of the stores they promoted — most were tossed after the campaign ended — making this one of the ultimate 1950s cereal premiums.
Measures a large 12.5" × 19"
Double-sided, with full color lithography on both faces
Displays brilliantly with rich reds and greens still intact
A cornerstone piece for any serious mask, cereal, or advertising collection
