Robinson Crusoe - Kelloggs Corn Flakes Pantomine mask (1955) - cutout (UK)

$85.00

From Kellogg’s charming Pantomime series of the mid-1950s, this Robinson Crusoe mask captures the shipwrecked adventurer with wide eyes, rugged beard, and classic storybook flair. Issued exclusively in the United Kingdom, these masks tied into the beloved British holiday pantomime tradition, where fairy-tale and literary characters were performed on stage in colorful, exaggerated style.

Printed on the reverse of Corn Flakes boxes, children were meant to cut out and wear them — which makes surviving examples scarce. This is a strong, bright example with the distinctive Crusoe design that rarely turns up today.
